🧠 BRAIN SUPPORT 💇 HAIR REGROWTH 4 VARIANTS

Red Light Therapy Hat — Hair Follicle Support and Brain Stimulation

(Norsk: Rødlys Lue — hårvekst og hjernestimulering)

Four models covering two distinct applications. Hair-focused variants use red wavelengths proven in follicle research. The brain stimulation variant uses 810nm NIR for maximum skull penetration. One variant combines both. Choose based on what you're trying to achieve — or ask Dominic if you're not sure.

Four Variants — Choose by Goal

✨ 655+850+940nm (180-LED)

Hair regrowth — latest model

  • 180 triple-chip LEDs
  • Inline remote: 5–30 min timer
  • 3 intensity modes + wave
  • Full head coverage including crown

🧠 810nm Only (210-LED)

Brain stimulation focus

  • 210 single-chip 810nm LEDs
  • Deepest skull penetration
  • 15-min auto shut-off
  • Pair with red panel for hair work

🔄 810nm + 660nm Combination

Hair and brain together

  • Both 810nm (brain) + 660nm (hair)
  • Single device for both applications
  • 15-min auto shut-off
  • Best if both goals matter

💰 660+850nm Standard

Classic hair and scalp combo

  • 150 three-chip LEDs
  • 660nm + 850nm — proven wavelength pair
  • Dimming control
  • 15-min auto shut-off

The Science Behind Each Application

For hair: 655–670nm red light has a documented research base for scalp applications — increasing blood flow to follicles and supporting cellular ATP production in hair follicle cells. Results require 8–12 weeks of consistent use and are not guaranteed for all types of hair loss.

For brain: 810nm near-infrared penetrates through the skull and does reach cortical tissue, though significant attenuation occurs. Research into transcranial photobiomodulation is active and directionally positive for cognitive support, mood, and focus — but the field is still developing. It is not a clinical treatment.

  • Daily 15-minute sessions are the standard protocol for both applications
  • Consistency over weeks produces changes — single sessions do not
  • Morning sessions are common for focus; evening sessions for relaxation
  • Non-thermal and non-ionising — daily use is safe at these wavelengths

Benefits by Goal

💇 Scalp Circulation

Red wavelengths increase blood flow to the scalp — the mechanism behind their use in hair follicle support research.

🧠 Cognitive Support

810nm for transcranial use. Research points to support for focus, mood, and neurological health — directional rather than definitive.

⚡ Cellular Energy

Both red and NIR support mitochondrial ATP production in the cells they reach — scalp, follicle, and cortical tissue.

😴 Mood and Sleep

Evening sessions with the lower-intensity modes support wind-down — particularly useful during the Norwegian dark season.

🏠 15-Minute Home Sessions

No clinic visits. Put it on, set the timer, get on with something else. Auto shut-off handles the rest.

❄️ Winter Maintenance

Morning sessions during mørketid for energy and mood support when natural light is limited.

Protocol: How to Use It

  • Frequency: Daily is ideal for both hair and cognitive goals. 3–5 times weekly also works for maintenance
  • For hair: Morning sessions consistently. Expect visible changes after 8–12 weeks minimum
  • For brain: Morning for focus and energy; evening for relaxation
  • Session length: 15 minutes (most models) or 5–30 minutes via remote on 180-LED model
  • Consistency beats duration: Daily 15-minute sessions produce better results than occasional 30-minute sessions

🇳🇴 Mørketid — Two Reasons to Use It Daily

Dark Norwegian winters affect mood, energy, and cognitive function. Morning hat sessions provide a photonic stimulus at the start of the day. Evening sessions support wind-down without the blue light of screens. Both benefits compound over weeks of consistent use through the dark season.

Not Sure Which Variant?

The choice between models comes down to your primary goal. If it's purely hair, the 655+850+940nm is the one I'd point to. If cognitive support is the main thing, the 810nm brain model. If both, the combination variant. If you tell me more about what you're trying to address, I'll tell you honestly which one makes sense.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the four models?

Standard (660+850nm, 150 LEDs) — classic hair and scalp. 180-LED (655+850+940nm) — latest hair-focused model with inline remote. Brain stimulation (810nm only, 210 LEDs) — maximum skull penetration for cognitive use. Brain+Hair combo (810nm+660nm) — both applications in one hat.

Can red light therapy help with hair loss?

Red light in the 655–670nm range has a research base for scalp blood flow and follicle stimulation. Results require 8–12 weeks of consistent daily use and vary individually — it is not effective for all types of hair loss.

Does 810nm really penetrate the skull?

810nm NIR does penetrate deeper than red light and does reach brain tissue, though attenuation through bone and tissue occurs. Transcranial photobiomodulation research is ongoing and directionally positive, but not definitive. It is not a clinical treatment.

How long should each session be?

15 minutes daily for most models. The 180-LED model allows 5–30 minutes via remote. For hair regrowth, daily consistency over weeks matters more than session length.

Do I need to have hair loss for this to be useful?

No. People with healthy hair use it for scalp circulation and maintenance. The brain stimulation models are used for cognitive and mood support regardless of hair status.

Which model should I choose?

Hair regrowth: 655+850+940nm 180-LED. Brain and cognitive focus: 810nm-only (210-LED). Both goals: 810nm+660nm combination. Not sure — email Dominic directly: admin@lighttherapy.no

Note: For general wellness. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Hair regrowth results require consistent use over several months and vary individually. Transcranial applications are for general wellness only, not clinical treatment. Consult your healthcare provider if pregnant or managing a medical condition.
