3 wavelength light:

Home Light Therapy's unique three wavelength technology that includes 630nm, 660nm, and 850nm wavelengths inside one small and sturdy stainless steel torch. 3 different wavelengths to ensure a variety of uses including joint/muscle pain, inflammation and skin conditions.

Each torch is equipped with 3 x 3w LED's at different wavelengths (although only 2 will be visible as the 850nm is not visible to the naked eye) that are perfect for light therapy "on the go".

Looking for different wavelengths - perhaps you want a blue, red and NIR (shown to be effective for psoriasis, acne, fungal infections), select the drop down menu and choose the 540nm, 660nm 850nm.

Whether you require small very pin point illumination of a joint or sore muscle with the red and infrared or perhaps you have a few spots of acne/psoriasis - these torches are perfect for you. Take them with you whereever you go - I take mine on hikes and when going camping to help alleviate that pain and swelling in my ankle at the end of long day.

Common questions:

Are the 3 wavelengths used all together at once? How does that work? 

Answer: Yes all three wavelengths (630, 660 and 850nm) are turned on at the same time when you turn on the device. The device contains 3 LEDs, one is infrared (850nm) and is non-visible to the human eye, and the other two LEDs are Red (630 and 660nm) which are visible to the human eye. Since infrared is in the non-visible spectrum the infrared LED will not illuminate like the other two Red LEDs.

Is it ok to use red light therapy on dogs and cats?

Answer: In general it is ok to use red light therapy on pets, however I recommend checking with your veterinarian about your pet's specific circumstance as we cannot provide medical advice.

I love my redlight, however, it turns off by itself after about 5 minutes. Is this normal? (Then I have to turn it on again.)

The device has an automatic shutoff feature where it will shutoff after 5 minutes (this is due to the device being intended to use for 1-5 minutes at a time). Leaving a few minutes will also help with temperature control.
