Which stand do I need? The Flexi Stand fits Half Body, Large Body and Large Body Max panels and supports vertical, horizontal and angled positions. The Vertical Stand is designed for Half Body panels and standing sessions. Select your option above.

Flexi Stand

Half Body · Large Body · Large Body Max

The most versatile stand in the range. A 360° rotating arm lets you swing the panel from fully vertical to fully horizontal with one hand — no tools, no awkward adjustments mid-session. Roll it wherever you are doing your session, lock the casters, and you are ready. Works for standing, sitting, or lying down underneath it.

Height range 91 – 142 cm
Rotation 360° manual arm
Frame Heavy-gauge iron
Weight approx. 8.5 kg
Base Rolling, locking casters

Key features

  • 360° rotating arm — vertical to horizontal in seconds, no tools needed
  • Height 91–142 cm covers standing, seated and floor-lying positions
  • Rolling base with individual locking casters — stable during sessions, mobile between rooms
  • Heavy iron frame stays solid even with larger panels attached
  • Cable routing channels keep the panel lead tidy and off the floor
  • Fits Half Body, Large Body and Large Body Max panel sizes
  • Assembles flat-pack in under 20 minutes, no specialist tools

Getting the most from your sessions

For standing sessions, set the column height so the panel centre aligns with your chest and stand 15–30 cm back from the surface. For lying-down sessions, rotate the arm fully horizontal, lower the panel to 20–40 cm above the mat, and lock everything before you lie down. The 360° rotation also lets you angle the panel downward to treat the lower back, hips or legs without crouching in front of a fixed stand — a detail that matters once you are using it daily.

The Flexi Stand is the one I recommend most often to customers buying a Half Body or larger panel. The horizontal capability alone opens up treatment positions a vertical-only stand cannot match. For more on positioning and distance, the light penetration guide covers the irradiance-distance relationship in detail.

Vertical Stand

Half Body

A solid, no-fuss vertical floor stand built for Half Body panels. It holds your panel upright at the right height, rolls easily between rooms, and locks firm when you step in front of it. If your sessions are always standing and you want dependable, low-profile kit, this is the one.

Who this stand is for

The Vertical Stand suits people who use their panel standing — before or after training, as part of a morning rødlysterapi routine, or at a dedicated spot in a home gym or living room. Wheel it in, lock it, session done, wheel it back. The footprint is minimal and the setup stays clean.

If you want lying-down sessions or horizontal overhead treatment, choose the Flexi Stand instead. The Vertical Stand is intentionally simpler and priced to reflect that. For most Half Body users doing standing sessions, it covers everything they need. The light penetration guide has useful notes on standing distance and optimal irradiance.

Why a proper stand matters

The most common mistake I see with rødlysterapi panels is bad positioning. The panel ends up hung on a door at the wrong height, propped against a wall at an angle, or shifted around session to session so you never actually know what dose you are getting. A proper stand fixes all of that. You control the height, you control the angle, and you can move it to wherever in the home makes sense that day.

Distance to the panel matters more than most people realise. Most panels deliver their best irradiance at 10–30 cm. With a stand you hold that distance consistently across a full session. Without one you are guessing. Read more in the irradiance guide — it explains exactly why this affects results.

Common questions

What is the difference between the Flexi Stand and the Vertical Stand?

The Flexi Stand has a 360° rotating arm — you can position the panel vertically, horizontally or at any angle, which is useful for lying-down sessions or treating specific areas. The Vertical Stand holds the panel upright only. Both adjust from 91–142 cm and have rolling locking casters. The Flexi Stand fits Half Body, Large Body and Large Body Max. The Vertical Stand is designed for Half Body panels.

Kan jeg ligge under panelet med stativet? (Can I lie under the panel with the stand?)

Yes — but only with the Flexi Stand. Rotate the arm to fully horizontal, lower the column to the right height above your mat, and lock the casters before lying down. The Vertical Stand is upright only and is not suitable for overhead horizontal use.

Which stand fits my panel size?

The Flexi Stand fits Half Body, Large Body and Large Body Max panels. The Vertical Stand is designed for Half Body panels. Both stands accept panels with a width of 15–44 cm and thickness of 6–8.5 cm. If you are unsure, message admin@lighttherapy.no or text +47 951 47 478 (text only) with your panel model.

Hva er høydejusteringen? (What is the height adjustment range?)

Both stands adjust from approximately 91 cm to 142 cm column height. With a Half Body panel attached, the top of the panel reaches roughly 170–175 cm at maximum height — suitable for most adults in a standing session.

Is the stand stable on smooth floors like parquet or tiles?

Yes. Lock all four casters before your session and the base will not move. The heavy iron frame on the Flexi Stand gives it a low centre of gravity even with larger panels. If your floor is particularly slippery, a small rubber mat under the base helps.

Do I need tools to assemble the stand?

No specialist tools are required. Both stands use hand-tightened knobs and basic hardware included in the box. Assembly takes 15–20 minutes. A step-by-step guide is included.

Will the stand fit panels from other brands?

The clamps are universal and fit most panels with a width of 15–44 cm and thickness of 6–8.5 cm. If your panel is from another brand or outside those dimensions, contact us before ordering to confirm fit.
